Adding a New Visitor to a Visit

If a Personnel record for a Visitor does not already exist in the Personnel database, you can click New in the Visitor grid on the Visit General tab to create a new Visitor Personnel record.

Note: If you plan to give the Visitor a physical badge for the Visit, you should consider entering their Email Address in their Personnel record so that you can use the Email Reminder feature of Temporary Credentials to send a reminder to the Visitor if they do not return the badge. See the Credentials Chapter in the C•CURE 9000 Personnel Configuration Guide for more information.
To Add a New Visitor to a Visit
  1. Click New in the Visitors grid on the Visit General tab. (You can also click the down-arrow on the New button to use a template for creating the new Visitor Personnel record.)
  2. The Personnel editor opens to let you add a Personnel record for the new visitor (the Personnel Type is automatically set to Visitor).
  3. Enter values for the Personnel fields on the General tab, and any other tabs as needed.
    Note: If you are adding Visitors to a Visit and expect to use Email notifications (either from the Administration client or the Visitor Management application, you should make sure to enter an Email Address for the Visitor.
  4. Click Save and Close to save the settings and return to the Visit General tab. The new Personnel record is added to the Visit as a Visitor.
