Visit Event Action - Check Out All Visitors

An Event action is provided that automatically checks out all Visitors who are currently checked in. This action is intended to be used with an Event that has a Schedule that causes this action to be triggered periodically, for example, the Nightly schedule would check out visitors after business hours.

For every Visitor currently checked in, the Event action checks out the Visitor, disables their visitor credential, and removes any Clearances they were assigned in association with their Visit.

  1. From the Configuration pane, create a new Event.
  2. Give the Event a Name, and click Enabled.
  3. In the Activate on Schedule field, click select-button.png and choose an appropriate Schedule. (If such a Schedule does not exist, you will need to create a new Schedule from the Configuration pane.)
  4. On the Action tab, click Add.
  5. In the Action column, choose Check out all visitors from the drop-down list.
  6. Click Save and Close to save the Event.

    Example:

    If you choose the system Schedule Nightly, all Visitors would be checked out by this Event at 2:17 AM every night.
